Our big move to Chico in early December put the brakes on our fishing since our trip to Eagle Canyon in November. Since the move, we have been busy unpacking and dealing with all the issues with a new home. The boys had their 11th birthday last month and we shared it with friends and family. This past weekend they stayed with Po Po in Gridley and they did some fly tying. Po Po is headed to the Amazon so the flavor of the day were flies for peacock bass. The boys tied some great looking flies and even some with extended bodies! For 11 years old, the tie some really nice flies.
Now that we live in Chico, we might be fishing the Feather and Lake Oroville a little more.
