Labor Day has come and gone and it was an action packed week. Uncle Yun and Aunty Betty came from North Carolina for a visit. Uncle Meng dropped by for a couple days, Pop B came down and fished with us on Thursday, Uncle Kit came by for an evening and Po Po and Mo Mo dropped in for our crawfish boil.
I launched the boat 9 times in 6 days. We did a few double trips a day and it made for a very busy weekend. Uncle was the hot stick for the first few days then he cooled off a bit on the last day. We caught lots of fish and since Uncle could not bring back fresh salmon back home to NC, I canned 2 cases and smoked a couple fish for him to take home.
It was great to see the family and hang out at the house and on the boat. It’s times like this that make us so grateful to have such good family.
